The house of Lecoanet Hemant was established in 1981, by Didier Lecoanet and Hemant Sagar. The first store opened its doors at Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, opposite the Elysée Palace- an intimate atelier that witnessed a confluence of diverse inspirations. The inaugural collection, in partnership with Cartier Haute Joaillerie, earned Lecoanet Hemant the prestigious membership of Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, the governing body of high fashion.

Aluminum is the most abundant metal in the earth's crust and is obtained mainly from bauxite. Its lightness, resistance to corrosion, and strength (especially in alloys) have led to widespread use in domestic utensils, engineering parts, and aircraft construction.

How It Happened
I LOVE Slim Aarons photographs particularly the one of the women “Poolside Glamour”! What are they talking about! Why am I not there? The Yellow makes me feel so particular. The woman walking over, it seems to be the place to be. Well, here’s the details…
A desert house designed by Richard Neutra for Edgar J. Kaufmann, Palm Springs, California, January 1970. Lita Baron approaches, while in the foreground Nelda Linsk (right) wife of art dealer Joseph Linsk, is talking to her friend, Helen Dzo Dzo.
Now, the Light and Luminescence, simple as it is, is mesmerizingly perplex! Well, I have always had that imprint embedded in my brian cells.
I had the opportunity to photograph a story at the Stanbridge House at the Movie Colony area in Palm Springs, California, and when I took one look at the pool location where it faced, I had a gut reaction that said I must photograph this in a manner captivating timelessness. The day I did the photo production was a gorgeous day, however the sun had to be in the right spot and the light had to dance glossy, be behind the palm trees and I made a mental note I had to catch the transparent chairs in the pool invisibly, the palm tree in the distance had to be wonderfully backlit like it was coiffed and of course the luminance on the concrete had to deliver bright tonal values. The palm tree in the far middle distance, the one on the right and the far right all had to frame the frame. It would all frame the two flower pots in the front to make it a photograph - not a picture, a photograph. Colour values that expressed affluence opulence in a mid-century style, one that no one has here, a first.
It was all forming in my head. It was only one shot. Literally. I got the shot, I was distracted then distracted again. And, the light had gone as had that moment and shot.
The thing with fashion shoots is to have an opportunity to capture as much of everything with having the team understand it is all about YOU. Get the shot. And, really, get the shot for often, the light passes as does the set up. Yes, you have to get all the pages and fashion as well… Well, well… then!
Glossy! Silver rich paper with a sexy shine and framed, it is a voyeuristic sensory journey.
