Hans Feurer: ‘Behind Fashion There Is Always a Dream’
“I love women. I have a lot of respect for women and find them more interesting than men. The person I am drawn to is intelligent, strong and beautiful. Women are the main reason I became a fashion photographer,” says Hans Feurer.
When I read Hans’ obituary and then his statement it left me with a smile for I have always said the same to every woman I have met even briefly. I am quoting what I truly have loved. --- Amyn Nasser
Statement:
My work comprises of a spontaneous combustion of drama in cinematic tonalities I set up which brings out character tones of a split second capture perhaps somewhere sometime in my dreams or through the "sway" of East West Cultural Influences, however, regardless the woman is always empowered with her femininity - and style. It is an essence of a (the) moment, that is it, - which can be missed. I don't particularly "Pose" unless the "Pose" is a "Pose", if you get it. We are a Pose.
The work is Timeless. I do not keep any relevance to styles or trends going out as they never do. That, to me, is a misconception. Classy is knowing who you are.
The branding campaigns, advertising, editorial projects I have "shot" over the years have a clear imprint of my twist of style with a visual sensory journey. Most often with campaigns or editorials, the success of the project was large, and a sellout of the product - no matter if a luxury handbag, stocking, pantie, liptstick or bow tie, or magazine story.

In Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand presents, for the first time and in a dramatized form, her original philosophy of Objectivism. She exemplifies this philosophy in the lives of the heroes and in the action of the story. Objectivism holds that reason — not faith or emotionalism — is man's sole means of gaining knowledge. Her theory states that an individual has a right to his or her own life and to the pursuit of his or her own happiness, which is counter to the view that man should sacrifice himself to God or society. Objectivism is individualistic, holding that the purpose of government is to protect the sovereign rights of an individual. This philosophy opposes the collectivist notion that society as a whole is superior to the individual, who must subordinate himself to its requirements. In the political/economic realm, Objectivism upholds full laissez-faire capitalism — a system of free markets that legally prevent the government from restricting man's productive activities — as the only philosophical system that protects the freedom of man's mind, the rights of the individual, and the prosperity of man's life on earth.

You are THE MODERN DANDY: It goes without saying that you are wonderful company and oh what fun! A real breath of fresh air, as they say. You might be seen galivanting down London’s Carnaby Street as you prefer your tailors with a tad more verve than their stiff Savile Row counterparts. Your unique and unconventional temperaments mean you’re not a man that follows the crowd, after all one should never simply content themselves with the most obvious choice, especially when choosing a scent. It wouldn’t be surprising if you feel at home alongside the poets, painters and playwrights as you display a unique charisma with a diverse, tolerant and utterly disreputable charm.
