Aluminum is the most abundant metal in the earth's crust and is obtained mainly from bauxite. Its lightness, resistance to corrosion, and strength (especially in alloys) have led to widespread use in domestic utensils, engineering parts, and aircraft construction.
Voyeur [a] Nocturne Project body of work is an ongoing project.

How It Happened!
There it was! When I first came to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and I had a condominium in Yaletown, I always thought it felt like Toyland of some Magic from up above.
On solving the puzzle of locations on this personal project of photographing the landscape of the city of lights in the Pacific North West, I indulged in the pleasure of an invitation from a model I was photographing, Amanda, of photographing a story at her friend's place. There it was, when I stepped out on the terrace of the penthouse way up above the City of what looked like a Toyland setup. Sharp. Yaletown.
I charmed my way to get the invitation to come back to photograph with all the time I wanted, I did this in a hurry as an opportunity must never be lost in thought.
A High. Yes, high vantage point, Nikons, Nikkors, Manfrottos, Gitzos, electronic shutter releases... what else, yes, of course, the secret bag...
Looking through the viewfinder, I was baffled... the Blue Smokey Sky, the rising Towers claiming their space, enchanting Grouse Mountain lights at dusk leaving a leading trail to The Heaven's Doorway where you never knew who would open the door! What got me most was the 3 towers dominance for height at that mysterious angle showcasing the concrete jungle. Indeed. In 3's isn't it... some relevance?
How many doorways for Morgiana to mark a symbol on. Mezmorizing when seeing this, one wonders. Will Ali Baba sail up above in an embroidered carpet! The Land of the Game of Real Estate. The mystery.
This was the Third Bottle of the Finest French Champagne. I took the shot, then another, then another... well, I am not letting you know, dear reader, what I was doing to capture the luminance and other technical details, but then, does it matter, for the Mystery of Ali Baba is... Ali Baba's Mystery!
A Winner and a Rare Shot. Indeed. Historical in Vancouver's History as well as Canada. In addition, this is the First Body of Work in this scale in this Century. Yes.
• No Photoshop manipulation nor any pano stitching.
• This is One Capture with luminescent colour tonal values.
• No drones, no Artificial Intelligence.
It occurs to me then, that something which brings the voyeur and the nocturne (night-piece) together is light, or at least, something to break the depths of darkness, even if it is only a flicker." -- Shamira A. Meghani, Doctor of Philosophy
Amyn Nasser’s Voyeur Nocturne body of work is the result of a ten-month project exploring Vancouver’s high-rise jungle from unknown perspectives. His concept of exploring the essence of Vancouver at night through colour, contour, and light has produced a series of exceptional architectural photographs. Warm, metallic colours that range from glistening gold to silvery platinum to shimmering bronze are characteristic of Nasser’s work. Though shot from afar, the city’s silhouette is bathed in a harmonic light and emits a welcoming warmth, inviting us to linger the way a lit window does a silent observer.
Amyn Nasser’s work is more than a mere tribute to the beauty of his adopted hometown. They can also be interpreted as a critical reflection of a society in which the boundaries between private and public have become fluid. Having already published spreads in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar as a fashion photographer, Nasser has won countless prizes... -- Sarah Fassio - LUMAS Galleries
